Job Responsibilities:
Conduct Daily Incident Management System Case Review
Become an Active Member of the Cressona Emergency Response Team.
Verify Corrective Actions are completed for cases scheduled for closure.
Coordinate the Red Zone (Heat Stress) Program (training, purchases and distribution).
Work with Departments to develop Department-specific procedures (JSAs, LTVs, Confined Space)
Work with Engineering and other Departments on Projects and PESHAs.
Conduct PPE testing prior to training. Work with the safety committees to coordinate new PPE trials.
Conduct Mobile Equipment Practical’s and Recertification’s.
SCBA Inspections, refills
Review Contractor JSSPs as needed.
Coordinate CERT, CPR/First Aid Trainings. Conduct various HSE training sessions.
Coordinate lifting device inspection
Available to travel in support of other plants. Conduct Audits and Training.
Coordinate and conduct all phases of Critical “8” training (Mobile Equipment, Confined Space, Fall Protection, Electrical, Machine Guarding, Molten Metal, Lock Tag Verify and Contractor Safety)
Conduct daily observations/interventions to assure safe work practices are being followed.
Provide assistance with investigations on injuries, injury free events, & major incidents.
Develop and improve upon written and classroom training programs.
Perform daily contractor safety audits.
Maintain Scorecard and promote activities to improve.
Act as teacher and trainer on the floor daily to create sustainable change. Facilitate/support safety teams.
Key Requirements:
Min 5 years of industrial experience, Experience with Human Performance Implementation a plus

Manufacturing experience and must be able to organize and manage multiple tasks related to HSE compliance.
A post-secondary degree is a plus
Must possess the basic skill set to manage HSE projects and compile presentations. Strong math and analytical skills. Behavioural-based safety experience is a plus.
Basic Knowledge of Health, Safety and Environmental principles. Excellent computer skills with a high level of proficiency with MS Office programs (PowerPoint, Excel, etc…).
Demonstrated ability to work in and through teams, with all levels of the workforce.
Satisfactory background check required of the successful candidate(s) to comply with Department of Transportation HAZMAT regulation.
